In these movement classes, we gently work with the energy patterns of the body through breathing, grounding, stretching and emotional expression to relax muscles and challenge our chronic holding patterns.
We focus on the physical sensations and feelings that arise when tensions are released and our physical and emotional systems are energized. The movement class can facilitate change on a deep body level by deepening the breathing, allowing the body to regain its natural aliveness, and increasing awareness of the physical-emotional connection.
Participants report that they feel more energized, relaxed and present after a class.
Offered at the River Spirit office on 4 Wednesday evenings: October 25, November 1, 8, 15th from 7:00-8:00pm; doors open at 6:45pm.
